I wish there was something nice I could say about this place. I could tell it was a place that the locals came often. There isn't much options when you come through this town. It was an older place so I tried to blame the dirty bathrooms and such on that but it was so gross. I looked at the walls where I sat and they were covered in filth. The salad bar was filled with spoiled fruit and other items. I had the chicken tenders and couldn't finish it. My husband had the burger and he said it was good. The people there were nice but not enough for me to ever go back or tell anyone to stop here.
Good food, but NOT a good value for the small portions of sides. Competitive with similar restaurants, but small, inadequate parking, lacks ambiance, over priced. Should include drink in the price or either a desert; Golden Coral, Granny Cantrell's and Big Mamas better choices if you're looking for good value for hard-earned money.
I used to go here often when my son was at FSU and would meet half way from Panama City. It has definitely degraded and the place is in need of a good cleaning. Food was about the same. Good southern cooking but buffet has gotten smaller with less items.
Good burgers but the fish isn't so good
Only drove there because I was told they had dressing/stuffing on buffet. After my salad, I had to scrape the pan for dressing/stuffing and was told there wouldn't be any more put out. Of course, I'm still mad about this. 8 spoke with John (Manager) and received nothing but excuses and was charged full price 10.00 for buffet and left hungry. There wasn't but one chicken which us only piece I eat. I'm highly disappointed but be back anytime soon that's for sure. I feel cheated. Apparently they had 4 pans of dressing prepared from 1030-2pm and buffet ends at 230. Who pays full price when you run out of food and there's only a handful of items I even eat. The good reviews are obviously from when it was previously owned by someone else.
